Not Some /Thing/ Like Love
A downloadable game

The Ōtiv line is an old corporate experiment in consciousness transfer. Trying to upload a person's mind into a robotic chassis was apparently cheaper than training soldiers back then. Most of the subjects joined" for money. Others were "volunteers". The faulty process killed them. What remained inside the now, by centuries out-of-date, mechs was not a person. It was the memory of pain, encoded as aggression. Units went berserk on activation. The project was buried. Mechs crated and stored as trash in the empty Ashiva Tower Basement.
One of them activated a months ago. It has apparently forcefully locked itself inside of the tower and waits for some /thing/.
Eleven days ago, Ri Ashiva found out about it and climbed in through a maintenance hatch to "salvage parts", so she said.
They are still in there with the robot.
A hippie in a cyberpunk world may seem weird, but in this small scenario the players face a framework to talk about "human" feelings and how they are repressed in a future world of tech and coorporations.
Alternatively this could be used as in an active campaign to explore a less techy and more intimate setting for a session.
The pamphlet was initially written with the CBR-PNK ruleset in mind, but only uses a very small amount of its framework. Maybe i'll rewrite it in a longer form to fully utalise the rule capabilities.
This double-sided, quad-fold A4 document is includes:
◆ 1 location (Locked down Tower),
◆ 4 NPC's (2 characters, 2 enemies),
◆ Tables for random escalating events.
